Your Impact!
For people with disabilities in Liberia, there has never been a time there wasn’t a crisis as they have been ignored and left on the streets to beg for survival. As people are being asked to stay home in the midst the state of emergency in Liberia, people with disability are facing impossible choices - stay home and die of hunger or venture out and risk being infected with the deadly COVID-19 virus. That is why our COVID-19 Relief is focused on our brothers, sisters, fathers and mothers dealing with disabilities to minimize the impact of this pandemic in Liberia.
We are seeking donations to supply the first 100 bags of rice to the Group of 77 (Liberia’s oldest organization serving people with disabilities) after which we will continue our efforts throughout the country to impact as many families dealing with disabilities as possible during this time.
